- Ensure that sound and timely decisions are made using effective judgement based on quality, business efficiency and commercial considerations.
- People administration and management activities for direct team – pay reviews, annual leave, workforce planning and recruitment
- Ensure engineering rigour and compliance to product development process including leverage of best practices from external suppliers and manufacturers.
- Drive operational excellence improvements particularly in the electrical domain.
- Maintain electrical engineering technical skills and knowledge and awareness of technical improvements.
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for project deliverables
- Work pragmatically with project contributors to manage the inevitable competing workloads and resource constraints to obtain the best outcomes of the business
Must have
- Electronics degree
- Product Development experience
- Consumer Electronics background
- 5 years Engineering experience
- Strong Leadership skills
