Storeperson – Cardiff:

Company Overview:
Our Valued Rail services client is one of the largest integrated and diversified suppliers of railroad and transit system products and services in Australia.
An opportunity exists for a Storeperson to join their team on a Mon – Fri Day shift based in Cardiff, New South Wales.


Role Tasks & Duties:

The role includes but not limited to:

  • Logging goods in and goods out on their IT Software (AX).
  • Stock taking and general warehouse duties.
  • Operating the Forklift - Loading and Unloading palletised items off the back of flatbed trucks and onto racking within the facility.
  • Moving palletised items within the facility and taking them through to the maintenance sheds.
Required Skills, Experience and Competencies:

  • A valid NSW LF Forklift & Driving License. (Must have proven practical onsite operating hours).
  • Demonstrated experience in using stock control system such as Maximo, AX or similar computerised ERP inventory system.
  • Previous experience operating as a Storeperson in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
  • Inventory/cycle counting & dispatch experience.
  • Ability to proactively organise / prioritise work task in a professional efficient manner both in an autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Adhere to all OHS policies and procedures.
  • High level communications and interpersonal skills.
  • High level problem solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability and willingness to further their knowledge and skills with additional training.

Additional requirements:

  • Passing a pre-employment medical.
  • Australian fulltime working rights.
  • Overhead crane verification of competency advantageous.
What Is On Offer?

  • $40.11 Per hour plus penalties.
  • Immediate starts, 3 months initial contract with view to extend & OT opportunities.
  • Mon – Fri Day Shift (typically working hours 6am – 2.30pm).
