2xm recruit is looking for site engineers with experience in in a rail construction environment, at least 2 years in Electrical or Mechanical projects. These positions will be working on the Sydney Metro project.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities
  • Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects, review and make recommendations for improvements, as appropriate.
  • Support the procurement process for contractors with the Commercial / Procurement team.
  • Interface with internal technical teams on a day to day basis
  • Assist in the day to day review and management of subcontractor documentation
  • Assist in any other matters arising from the construction work's

Key Requirements 

  • A relevant engineering degree Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience on Electrical or Mechanical projects
  • Rail construction project experience is desired
  • Be confident in preparing interface plans and specifications, design and installation submissions
  • Be able to prepare site surveys and verification's
