2XM Recruit are a leading National Provider of Recruitment & Labour Hire Services with over 10 years’ experience supplying highly qualified Technical Engineering & Blue-Collar personnel to the Mining, Rail, Engineering & Construction industries across Australia.

Our well-respected Client has an exciting full-time permanent opportunity for a Service Technician located in Bunbury. This role requires someone with Compressor experience who enjoys working from various locations daily.

Basic Duties & Responsibilities:  
  • Preventative & corrective mechanical service on compression, process, and production equipment
  • Servicing, troubleshooting & fault finding of various compressor systems
  • Overhaul of diesel engines/ engine parts
  • Coordination of equipment repair and maintenance
  • Testing of assembled parts fit with precise measuring instruments
  • Submitting accurate maintenance reports and any other required paperwork whilst liaising with the Service Manager
  • On call – working on a 24 hour call out basis and respond to calls in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years in a similar role
  • Display advanced knowledge of compressor packages and components
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ideally you will live in Bunbury or nearby
  • The ability to read pneumatic and hydraulic circuit diagrams
  • Reliable, committed and can work well under pressure
  • Must have a current driver’s licence with a good driving record
