What's on Offer

This Client has fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Supervisor to join their team at their state-of-the-art Darra premises. The role will see you support and lead a team of Technicians in providing service and warranty support to all company products or equipment manufactured, sold and serviced by the client to a high level of safety, quality and customer service.

Reporting to the Qld Operations Manager, the role tasks and duties include but aren’t limited to;

  • Supervision of staff and control day to day operation and minor employee relations.        
  • Verification of details on requests for quotations and purchase orders. Liaising with Fleet and Project Managers where required.                                           
  • Accurately and professionally respond to all customers including and not limited to expediting requests, whilst managing conflicting service task priorities.               
  • Accurately raise service and parts quotes and orders in SAP and / or project related Spares in conjunction with office administrators.
  • Maintain the agreed budget and pricing, by managing agreed schedules of labour hours and highlighting discrepancies.
  • Liaise with purchasing with regards to cost pricing and open requests from local and overseas suppliers including internal production.                                                              
  • Plan release of service and sales orders for all business units as required in conjunction with the Operations Manager and service team.                                               
  • The creation and update of team KPI's,  facilitate the interchange of ideas on policies and procedures between technicians and management via regular toolbox talks.    
  • Maintain phone, quote and order entry coverage with Operations manager and Office Administrators.                 
  • Effectively utilise the workshop and resources to provide a safe and efficient flow of work. Ensure that all OH&S policies and Management Systems are adhered to.
Skill-sets, experiences and culture requirements;

  • HVAC Trade Qualification
  • 5 years of Industrial / Commercial HVAC or Refrigeration experience
  • High degree of computer skills
  • SAP enterprise resource planning software
  • Supervisory or Team Leader experience
  • Technical support for clients, field and workshop technicians
  • Team work, adaptability & flexibility and good problem-solving skills
  • Customer orientation.
