Role details:

The role requires 4x seasoned Systems Engineers who lives and breathes systems thinking and who has in-depth experience applying Systems Engineering on multi-modal transport infrastructure projects (rail, road, maritime), or on defence and aerospace programs.

The role provides System Engineering services and support across the portfolio of multi-modal projects and programs including Rail, Road, Freeways and more. 

Key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Development of key Systems Engineering artefacts in the early phases of projects including ConOps, OCD, MCD, BRS, SRS
  • Managing the quality and traceability of requirements in contemporary tools (eg. DOORS Next Generation)
  • Supporting Systems Architecture, Systems Integration and Verification and Validation (V&V) activities
  • Implementing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Providing guidance and conducting due diligence reviews of AEO Suppliers’ deliverables.
Ideally candidates will have a background in the rail or road transportation sector and be well versed in System Engineering principles and contemporary tools. Experience applying Systems Engineering in other safety and mission critical sectors (eg. defence, aerospace) will also be highly regarded.

Candidate also need to have experience in the full lifecycle of Assets, Systems Development and Design Specifications.
