Quality Control Engineer

Role type: Full-time

Location: Rosebery

Role and responsibilities

Responsible for quality assurance of the selected Project/Projects to ensure the correct implementation of the works in accordance with quality control requirements, including but not limited to:
  • Establish Inspection/testing systems and procedures to ensure that the product and material meet technical standards and creating quality assurance documentation.
  • Proactively recommend solutions that will improve product/system overall performance.
  • Establish and Implement auditing systems based on ISO 9001:2015 requirements
  • Determining quality metrics for the manufacturing, installation, and T&C procedures
  • Monitoring the production and installation cycle and reporting on malfunctions
  • Inspect product materials and electrical systems for defects and durability
  • Identify the root of technical issues and recommend fixes
  • Prepare reports on malfunctions and corrective actions
  • Review current blueprints and quality documentation
  • Set and track quality assurance goals
  • Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure compliance
  • Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products/Systems
Essential Criteria
  • Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies
  • In-depth understanding of technical documentation
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis
  • Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Team spirit
  • Good analytical skills
  • reliable, adaptable, technically minded, lateral thinkers to join our team.
  • Prepared to undergo mandatory Police Check and a Pre-employment Medical assessment to assess capability to perform the role requirements safely
Preferred
  • Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus
  • Railway or Metro working experience is a plus
Additional Notes

• There will be a certain level of physical work involved in this role and you may be required to work on weekends, as well as during the week.
