Mechanical Trade Assistant Technician Works:
  • $34 - $38 P/H Pens. (depending on experience)
  • Immediate Starts, ongoing works.
  • Day Shift Mon – Fri.   

Company Overview:
2XM currently have a number of opportunities available within a role as a Mechanical Trade Assistant.
These role will see you provide services for, installation to warranty maintenance, to end-to-end project work.



Role Tasks & Duties:

The role includes but not limited to:

  • Consist of fault finding, trouble shooting, diagnostics, scheduled maintenance/compliance checks, servicing & periodical overhaul retro fit works to lift equipment.
  • Product Installation
  • Supporting Trades 


Required Skills, Experience and Competencies:
  • Partial completion of mechanical trade or overseas trade highly desirable.
  • HSC or high school education level.
  • Minimum of 3-5 Years proven trade assistant heavy industry experience.
  • Australian Drivers License
  • Customer facing and have ability to communicate clearly and effectively with key clients.

Additional requirements:

  • Passing a pre-employment medical including Drug & Alcohol screen
  • Right to work in Australia, must be able to work without Visa Sponsorship
  • The business is subject to the public health order requirements which are released or changed from time to time.
  • Have a current drivers licence and reliable car.
  • Commitment to safety
  • Be physically fit to carry out manual handling tasks.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Able to follow tasks and take direction
