2XM Recruit are working with a specialist client who is a trailer and truck manufacturer based in the Northern Suburbs to find a team of 4 permanent mechanical trade assistants. 
This role is looking for someone to start immediately and who is ultimately looking for stability. ?????The successful person needs to have experience in manufacturing, automotive, rail, trailers/trucks, welding. 

The Role:
  • Operating hand powered tools
  • Welding 
  • Keeping the workshop safe and tidy
  • Production assembly & testing
  • Care & maintenance of company facilities and property
  • Constant commitment to safety and awareness
To be considered for the position of Trades Assistant you will require:
  • Welding experience highly desirable 
  • Ability to operate within a busy workshop
  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously
  • Strong work ethics & willingness to learn and take on extra duties
  • Excellent time keeping
  • Strong commitment to health and safety
  • Positive attitude
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical
