2XM Recruit currently have a position open for a trade qualified and experienced Maintenance Supervisor /Team Leader with either Mechanical or Electrical backgrounds, ideally having experience in Rail, Rolling Stock or Locomotives or automotive.

The role:
  • Responsible for the quality and performance of the team specifically the delivery of targeted safety, health and the environment while taking into account the unit cost and operational outcomes.
  • Direct supervision, leading and managing labour.,
  • Capacity planning, rosters, overtime/leave,
  • Skills training and mentoring.
  • A focal point of the role will be on accuracy of all production data/documentation, delivery of continuous improvement initiatives that remove production bottlenecks/constraints and DIFOT of maintenance outcomes to customer quality standards.
  • Trade Qualified - Mechanical or Electrical bias
  • Experience in Electrical/Mechanical fitting in rail/rolling stock
  • Aviation | Govt' Heavy machinery | Heavy Industry Electrical or Mechanical background – associated industries will also be considered
  • Ability work autonomously
  • Previous experience managing small teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner
