Learning and Development Advisor

Salary: $120-130,000 Super

Type of role: 12-month maternity leave contract.

Location: North Sydney

We are partnered with a $6 billion international operation with over 50 years of involvement in Australian construction and infrastructure. They are currently delivering some of Australia’s most exciting projects across the transport, building construction, defence, airports, mining, civil and social infrastructure sectors. About the role

The role supports the Learning & Development Function and key components of the Knowing Our People agenda. The role specifically includes the coordination and management of our award-winning Early Talent Programs including the Internship, Undergraduate, Graduate, Trainee and Apprenticeship programmes.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead our Trainee and Apprenticeship strategy, with the support of a Trainee & Apprenticeships Coordinator
  • Coordinate Graduate rotations and Internship placements
  • Regularly consult and care for our entry level talent to understand their individual preferences, current challenges and career aspirations
  • Collaborate with the broader Learning & Development team on the design and delivery of the Entry-Level Conferences and lunch & learning training schedule
  • Engage and support the Graduate Committee to maintain a pulse on the graduate experience and ensure we continue to deliver a market-leading programme
About you

  • Experience in programme management of graduate and/or trainee & apprenticeship programmes, with a demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and deliver on key commitments
  • A passion for developing entry-level talent
  • Proven experience in consulting and collaborating with a range of stakeholders
  • A passion for developing talent, to meet both their individual career goals and the business goals
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent-level experience is preferred
