2XM Recruit are currently working alongside Bombardier, who have recently joined the Alstom Group, to find a Qualified Industrial Engineer to join their team in over in Dandenong for a 6 month contract. 

The Role:
  • Start - Monday 14th March
  • Casual 6 month contract with possible extension
  • Offering 38-hour work weeks
  • Competitive hourly Rates $45-50 ph. (depending on skill) 
  • Working in the rail industry on the Vlocity Refresh Project. 
The ideal candidate: 
  • Qualified in relevant engineering degree and minimum 3 years in a similar role 
  • Proficient in welding technology and techniques 
  • Previous quality control / assurance experience 
  • Previous experience with root cause analysis and problem resolution process 
  • Deal with external stakeholders, customers and suppliers 
  • Experience in an assembly environment is advantageous 
  • Previous experience in rolling stock would be advantageous 
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be able to take responsibility and ownership
