Industrial Spray Painter Our client based at Brendale on Brisbane’s Northside is looking for an experienced painter to join their team. This growing business is a leader in the manufacture of motor bodies and associated products for the rail service industry. The right applicant must be able to work alone or as part of a friendly team, completing all painting work within the allocated time frames. Work with a company that respects work life balance.            Staff at this workshop typically work a 38-hr week across 4-day week, providing a 3 day weekend to spend with family and friends. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skillset:
  • Prepare surface and Mask off to a professional high standard
  • Colour match and mix paints as per the truck build specification
  • Have 2 years minimum years’ experience in Automotive industrial two-pack spray painting, trucks (including Chassis), trailer bodies.
  • Applying primer and finishing coats using HVLP spray-gun
  • Ability to prioritise work tasks
  • Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team when required
  • Have a mechanical aptitude
  • General workshop duties as required
To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following:
  • Spray Painter Trade qualification
  • Live on Northside of Brisbane or willing to travel to Brendale .
  • Have the right to work in Australia
  • Undated CV outlining experience within the Automotive industry
