Main tasks and responsibilities
- Support execution of specific installation activities according to the design documentation.
- Technical support of manufacturing of pre-assemblies in Workshop
- Training of subcontractors and operators when needed.
- Support reports and alerts the hieratical superior of risk, difficulties or issues are identified during the installation activities that may impact the safety, quality or the performance of the work.
- Contributes during specification and design phases to technical solution decisions, participation to Technical Design Review (DR)
- Review during design phase of installation documentation (Electrical schematics, Wire to Wire, Harness specifications)
- Define requirements and rules for associated tooling necessary to support production
- Qualify the product as well as industrial means to be put in place in line with the design
- Support sourcing and SQD teams in the suppliers’ qualification and quality follow up
- In case of non-conformity or incident, investigate root causes, find and implement corrective solutions
- Support Sourcing and Supplier Quality teams during quality crisis
- Engineering degree MSc/BSc in process engineering, electronics, electrical
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial method or similar
- Experience from the Rolling stock or signaling business is a benefit
- Experience in lean manufacturing would be an advantage
- Autonomous, rigorous, good communication
- Good teaching skills (able to provide training to a group of trainees)
