2xm Recruit is the leading technical workforce recruitment and labour hire solutions provider in Victoria to the Rail and rolling stock sector. We are a national business backed by a global brand. We are working with several rolling stock component manufacturers across Victoria. We have an immediate opportunity for a refrigeration Technician with (ideally) HVAC technical experience and ARCTICK license, with exposure to welding, copper pipe brazing and new component assembly and fabrication. Our valued Client is a global organisation at the forefront of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology. Located in the Inner west suburbs of Melbourne they require a Refrigeration Technician to commence immediately within their commercial transport division. To be successful in this role you must have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, a resilient nature and be a strong team player. The role will see you provide Overhaul, Repairs; Warranty and service support to all HVAC products in the most efficient manner whilst maintaining high level of safety, quality and customer and service. This is a workshop-based position however in time may require you to work at various locations within the Greater Melbourne Metropolitan Area. ******* The position is a full-time role based in the Workshop ********* To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate the following.
  • Refrigeration/ Air conditioning trade qualification (must have).
  • Experience within automotive or manufacturing environment (distinctive advantage)
  • Arctick Refrigeration licence required *Must Have*
  • Have a strong work ethic and attitude towards their trade
  • Are happy to learn new systems
  • Want to work for a supportive company who offer training
  • Have a stable work history
  • Experience in servicing and maintaining commercial / industrial air conditioning equipment
  • Ability to complete documentation to company standards
  • Drivers Licence
  • Very competent working alone at times
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with key clients
