Primary purpose of the role
  • The role is to manage all the work of databases, servers, system engineer and clients. The stack may be a mobile stack, a web stack, or a native application stack. The role manages both the front and back end of a data stack.
Key accountabilities
  • Develop Web/Mobile/API Applications using a range of technologies for the purposes of visualising and communicating information, analytics, and insights to stakeholders.
  • Build wrappers around 3rd party products to deliver a cohesive product-based experience regardless of the backend technologies.
  • Assume technical responsibility for all stages of the software development process to ensure compliance with application development standards and achievement of documented requirements. • Utilise technical expertise in the requirements analysis phase to ensure the solution is both fit for purpose and fit for use.
Role Description Full Stacker Developer
  • Design automated testing and work with CI / CD processes testing to improve the quality and reduce operational risk of the developed application or front-end.
  • Provide on-going 3rd level support of developed applications to reduce the impact of production defects and related incidents.
  • In-house existing products and on-board 3rd party applications as acquired from the market; this includes leading other professional services contractors as required to achieve a high-quality outcome.
  • Share knowledge and experience with the team with regards to code reviews, software designs as well as all other engineering and business aspects.

  • Working in an environment of constant change in competing priorities and managing these priorities to enable completion of projects while delivering day to day tasks in the required timeframes.
  • Engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders whose agendas/priorities might not always be aligned.
