2XM Recruit currently have an exciting opportunity available for an Electronics Test Technician with Electronics, Electrical and OR small appliance repair experience.


You must be a permanent resident to be considered, Tertiary qualified and be available for a minimum 6 month period, at which point a permanent position may be available for the right person.
 
The role:
  • Permanent / Full time position
  • Hours of work are Mon – Fri 7am – 3:30pm
  • Paying between $70 - $75K Super
  • Immediate start
Duties Include:
  • Testing of products within the agreed technical, time and cost constraints.
  • Reporting of non-conformances of the product, test procedures and equipment via the quality system approved methods.
  • Maintaining product test records via the approved systems.
  • Observing HSE directives and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • The ability to follow company policies, processes, and procedures.
 
About you:
  • An understanding of the function of the tested electronic circuits in support of effective fault finding.
  • An ability to be able to read electrical schematics and understand the required procedural documents.
  • An understanding of the hazards of working with the tested product and test equipment.
  • Good soldering skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • An ability to communicate and work effectively with colleagues and managers.
