Our client is a large Electrical company with a commitment to communication, quality, and service. 
With over 20 years of experience specializing in facility upgrades, building maintenance, and Lage Tier 1 Projects. They are trusted by multiple Government bodies and private sector clients across WA to manage their projects – from concept to completion – including sites with security and unique access requirements.

About the role

The Project Manager will assist the Senior Project Manager with the delivery of a range of projects, from concept through to completion. This will include developing an understanding of our clients’ operational needs and achieving the company’s goals and targets through the delivery of cost-effective outcomes. 

You will be managing tier 1 and 2 projects so need to be able to hit the ground running!! 

 Duties

The main responsibilities will include:



  • Carrying out site visits to understand clients’ needs and taking notes of essential requirements 
  • Provide project suggestions in consultation with the Senior Project Manager and ensure multiple sub-contractor quotations to always provide best value for money options to the client
  • Account manage current and future clients to ensure open communication, feedback, and provide a personalised approach 
  • Understand and complete the quotation process for each client, always following up with a phone call to ensure effective stakeholder management
  • Liaise with the Helpdesk and Site Manager to Schedule resources as needed
  • Participating in Toolbox talks, WHS meetings as required and reporting any near misses, safety breaches or security breaches
  • Communicating daily with Site Managers the team, including tasks and daily programs 
  • Complete all administration work as needed for each Task/Project in line with the company standards, including reporting, spreadsheets and weekly agenda 
  • Ensure high quality completion of all Tasks/Projects, including handover documents and completion of work emailed to the client
 
What you will bring

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:



  • 2-5 years’ experience as a project manager
  • Recent experience managing tier 1,2 or 3 construction projects
  • Degree in Construction and or qualifications in Project Management such as Cert IV or equivalent
  • Driver’s license
  • Competency with using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook) 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Neat and tidy professional appearance, meeting the company uniform standards
  • Professional, reliable and trustworthy behaviour and attitude, in line with our company culture
