2XM are recruiting for several experienced Electrical and Mechanical Trades Assistants for an Immediate start in a workshop-based role in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.


Duties:

  • Operating hand powered tools
  • Keeping the workshop safe and tidy
  • Assisting Tradesman with production assembly & testing.
  • Care & maintenance of company facilities and property
  • Constant commitment to safety and awareness
The role:

  • Long-term, On-Going role (6 months casual with the view to go perm)
  • Hours are 7am – 3.30pm (Mon- Fri)
  • Overtime available.
  • $40- $45ph Super and Penalties.
  • Immediate start for the right person
About you:

  • Experience in a similar role. (Rail, Marine, Light Machinery component knowledge preferred)
  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously
  • Strong work ethics & willingness to learn and take on extra duties
  • Strong commitment to health and safety
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical
