2XM Recruit are currently looking for Document Controllers for both contract and long term positions based in Perth, SOR.

The Role
  • Maintain workflows and collate, issue, and receive documents in accordance with project requirements for the development, review and approval of design documentation and all other procedures, instructions, product certification and records that are subject to review and approval
  • Ensure document submissions are in accordance and compliance with project related requirements for example; document naming, numbering, formatting and requirements have been achieved. 
  • Implement the process for maintaining correspondence within the Data Management System. 
  • Prepare routine documents using standard Microsoft Office Suite including excel. 
  • Support audits, internal technical reviews and client reviews. 
  • Support the Configuration Management Team as directed by the Configuration Manager including ad-hoc, and periodic internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Provide guidance an advice on methods, procedures, standardisation and requirements to the project, client, contractors and third parties with regards to Document Control, and ensure compliance.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements within the Configuration Management & Document Control processes. 
  • Minimum of 2 years Document Control experience or minimum of 3 years in an equivalent role – essential
  • Proven working knowledge of electronic document management systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Document Control processes and requirements - highly desirable
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment with technical or industrial products - desirable
  • International project experience - desirable
  • Experience working in Marine, Defence or Engineering background - desirable
  • Well-developed skills within the Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Excel - essential
  • Project coordination skills – desirable
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to working in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
