Mechanical Fitter
 
2XM are recruiting for various Mechanical Fitters including Local and FIFO opportunities. 
 
Pay

• $60-80ph between Local and FIFO roles

Desired experience

• Winders, Crushers, Conveyors, Pulleys
• Pumps: change out/overhaul – water, dewatering, sewage.
• Underground and above mining equipment
• Poly-Welding experience

Role details

• Hands-on involvement in the Servicing, Maintenance and repair of Mechanical Pumping and distribution systems for the Utilities assets across the site. Including (but not limited to) Raw Water extraction networks, Water, conditioning, Wastewater processing, Storage and distribution of Water to maintain Operational supply for a 24hr Operation.
• Provide technical support for mechanical maintenance activities where needed.
• Ensure your work is compliant with Statutory Regulations.
• Ensure that high-risk tasks are identified with appropriate hazard controls.
• Conduct regular audits of Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) to ensure relevance and compliance.

 
About You

• Experience in mechanical fitting for a wide variety of electric and diesel-powered pumps, both above and below ground.
• Mobile plant, underground equipment.
• Proficient in electrofusion with poly pipe.
• Strong logical thinker with excellent technical aptitude and the ability to effectively solve problems.
• Capable of working independently while also thriving in a team environment.
• Holds a current manual W.A. driver’s license; HR license is advantageous but not required.
• Seeking a professional individual with a courteous and respectful approach to others.
