As an Electrical Fitter/Electrician, you’ll play a vital role in the repair and overhaul of various electrical motors and components.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Conduct overhauls, rewinds, and repairs on Traction Motors, Alternators, and Blower Motors
- Test electro-mechanical equipment to troubleshoot known or suspected problems using various methods
- Replace or repair worn or defective mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies
- Use precision measurement tools and equipment to determine serviceability and accurately note results
- Prepare cost estimates for repair of products, including description of the problem and/or expected serviceability
- Operate specialised repair and testing equipment and other equipment as needed
To be considered – you must show the following;
- Trade Qualification, Electrical Fitter / Electrician.
- High Risk Work Licenses – LF, DG, RB ideal.
- Soldering and Machining experience and Brazing and/or Welding experience.
Successful applicants will require to undergo a pre-employment medical prior to commencement.
