2XM are seeking experienced Electricians with a background in Rail Infrastructure or Rolling Stock to join a major Pilbara rail level crossing upgrade project.
This project will involve upgrading and replacing the solar and power systems that currently support BHP’s rail level crossings, helping improve the reliability and performance of critical rail infrastructure across the network.
The initial project scope includes approximately 10–12 level crossing sites, with the potential for further works across the wider network of 90+ level crossings for candidates and teams who deliver quality outcomes.
About the Role
- FIFO opportunity on a 2/1 roster
- Pay Rate: $73.90 + Penalties
- Initial project duration of 3 months, with potential extension to 12+ months
- Electrical upgrades and installation work within the rail corridor
- Working on solar and power systems supporting rail level crossings
- Opportunity to contribute to a significant long-term rail infrastructure program
About You
We are looking for experienced Electricians who have:
- Proven experience in Rail Infrastructure or Rolling Stock
- Previous mine site experience essential – this role is not suited to candidates entering mining for the first time
- Experience working in high-risk environments with a strong safety focus
- Ability to work effectively within a rail corridor environment
- Current electrical qualifications and relevant licences
