2XM Recruit are looking for a Mechanical Technician/ Skilled Trade Assistant to join our clients’ high performing team. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and working in a team environment, this could be a great fit.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards
Skills/ Experience
- 2+ years of local workshop experience as a Mechanical Technician or Skilled Trade Assistant
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings
- Confident using both hand and power tools
- Forklift ticket & dogging is advantageous but not essential
