2XM Recruit is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join a well-established transport and logistics company based in South of Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a modern fleet of trucks and trailers in a supportive workshop environment.
What’s on offer?
- $45.00 per hour (casual)
- Monday to Friday early morning or late morning start with consistent, full-time hours
- Opportunity to transition to a permanent position after 3 – 6 months

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles and trailers
- Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime
- Complete inspections and ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
- Work collaboratively with the workshop team to keep the fleet operating at its best
About You
- Trade qualified Mechanic
- Previous experience servicing and repairing trucks and trailers
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Valid driver’s licence (HR licence advantageous)
- Full working rights in Australia
