About the Opportunity

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Civil Surveyor to join a well-established civil contractor delivering land development and subdivision projects across the Perth metropolitan area.

This is a long-term position offering stability, career growth, and the opportunity to work on a single major project rather than moving between multiple sites. Working closely with project teams, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate set-out, survey control, and project delivery across a range of civil earthworks and infrastructure packages.

The role is Monday to Friday and includes a fully maintained company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform survey set-out for earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities, and associated civil infrastructure.
  • Establish and maintain survey control networks.
  • Conduct as-built surveys and prepare survey reports.
  • Liaise closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and Engineering teams.
  • Ensure survey data is accurate and aligns with project specifications and design requirements.
  • Manage and maintain survey equipment and records.
  • Assist with machine control and GPS systems where required.
  • Support project delivery through accurate reporting and documentation.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Civil Surveyor within land development, subdivisions, or civil construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of civil earthworks and infrastructure construction.
  • Experience using survey equipment including Leica, Trimble, or similar.
  • Proficiency with surveying software and data management systems.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with site teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate survey outcomes.
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience across residential subdivisions and land development projects.
  • Machine control experience.
  • Previous experience working on large-scale urban development projects.
