Hourly Rate: $115 – $145 p/h Super
Contract Duration: Initial 3 month contract with potential to extend to 12 months

Working Hours: 12 hour days
Are you an experienced Construction Manager looking for your next challenge on a critical infrastructure upgrade project? Would you thrive in a leadership role where you’ll oversee a large Civil / Electrical work package, manage multiple subcontractors, and work closely with Tier 1 clients? About the Role
This is a pivotal leadership role supporting the delivery of an upgrade project on critical infrastructure, initially over 3 months but, with the high likelihood it will run for 12 months. running through to mid-2027. You’ll oversee a team of up to 25 personnel, including subcontractors and service providers, ensuring construction activities meet design, quality, safety, and compliance requirements. The role is office-based on site (rather than out on the tools), with a focus on planning, stakeholder management, and driving delivery across civil, electrical, and associated works.
This is a temporary position with on-going career prospects, working for a business that has been a key delivery partner on key projects across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all on-site construction activities across the delivery phase.
- Manage 2 x installation teams (Civil / Electrical split), ensuring compliance with design specifications, client standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor construction plans, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, service providers, and internal teams (20–25 personnel).
- Partner with key stakeholders and internal project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Manage resourcing schedules, rosters, and payroll timesheet approvals.
- Review and negotiate variations within project scope.
- Prepare project performance reports and updates for senior leadership.
- Ensure HSE standards are implemented and adhered to at all times.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
- Strong track record as a Construction Manager delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience across clients, subcontractors, and service providers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365) and MS Project.
- Ability to manage and lead large teams in high-compliance environments.
- Civil or Electrical construction experience highly regarded.
