Mine Surveyor – Open Pit (FIFO 2:1) Site: WA Gold Operation
We’re working with a well-established gold operation to bring on an experienced Open Pit Mine Surveyor for a FIFO 2:1 roster.
This is a hands-on role supporting daily production across a stable site, working closely with engineering, geology, and operations teams.
The Role:
- Set out and pickups for drill & blast, dig limits, and haul roads
- Topographical surveys and as-builts across pit, dumps, and stockpiles
- Volume calculations and production reporting
- Maintain survey control and ensure data accuracy
- Support mine planning and site teams with up-to-date survey data
- Assist with end of month reporting and statutory requirements
Requirements:
- G2 Mine Surveying Authorisation (WA)
- Open pit mining experience (gold highly regarded)
- Experience with Surpac, Deswik, Vulcan or similar
- Strong GPS and total station experience
- Ability to work FIFO 2:1
- WA Driver’s Licence and National Police Clearance
