Civil Engineer (Rail)
Location: Melbourne, VIC OR Newcastle, NSW 
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Based on experience (This will be discussed on initial screening)

Role:
Seeking a Rail/Civil Engineer with at least 3 years post- grad experience. You will work on rail and civil engineering projects, delivering technical design solutions, monitoring project progress, and providing technical input for proposals and client presentations whilst collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

They provide end-to-end project services, including engineering design, procurement, construction management, and commissioning. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering technically compliant solutions during study and design phases, ensuring design quality requirements are met.
  • Monitoring project design progress and performance.
  • Providing technical input to proposals, client presentations, and business development activities.
  • Assisting with design scope, budget estimates, and project schedules for proposals.
  • Engaging with clients to maintain strong working relationships and contribute to successful project delivery.
  • Coordinating with multi-disciplinary engineering and drafting teams to ensure deliverables are accurate, timely, and meet quality standards.

Your Expertise

  • Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in Civil Engineering / Design Delivery.
  • Proven experience in rail and civil projects 
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with exceptional knowledge of engineering designs and calculations.
  • Experience in design and project management.
