HSEQT Advisor – FIFO
Are you an experienced HSEQT professional looking to take the next step in your mining career? We are currently seeking a motivated and proactive HSEQT Advisor to join our client’s high-performing team on a FIFO basis.
About the Role
Reporting to the HSEQT Manager, you will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture across site operations. This FIFO position operates on an 8:6 roster, offering the opportunity to work on dynamic and fast-paced mining projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and support on all Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and Training (HSEQT) matters
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and company procedures
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Facilitate toolbox talks, training sessions, and safety initiatives
- Maintain accurate HSEQT records and reporting systems
- Support continuous improvement of HSEQT systems and processes
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar HSEQT role within the mining or resources sector
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and industry best practices
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
- Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree in health and safety related discipline
- ICAM or similar investigation training (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to influence positive safety behaviours
- Current driver’s licence
