The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a skilled and professional team based in Henderson. This role offers a mix of workshop and field-based work, including opportunities for offshore assignments with attractive additional allowances.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines and associated systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Conduct overhauls and component rebuilds
- Perform onsite and offshore service work as required
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
About You
- Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Proven experience working on heavy diesel engines
- Experience in marine, offshore, defence, or rail sectors (highly regarded)
- Experience with Turbochargers (highly regarded – higher hourly rate on offer)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel and undertake offshore work
- Current driver’s licence
