Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Vehicle Fleet (Brisbane)
$46–$48/hour | Full-time Permanent | 8–10 Hour Days | Monday–Friday
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join a busy and well-established workshop in Brisbane. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with consistent hours and a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair a fleet of heavy vehicles
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on engines, braking systems, hydraulics, and electrical components.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure all vehicles meet safety standards.
- Work closely with the workshop team to support efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Willingness to travel to other depots when needed to support operational demands.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
- Experience with heavy vehicle fleets.
- Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work independently and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Safety-focused mindset and reliable work ethic
- Must have full working rights in Australia
Job Details:
- Pay: $46–$48/hour, based on experience
- Full-time, permanent role
- 8–10 hour shifts, Monday to Friday
- Medical check required prior to commencement.
