AOD Clinical Lead
Location: Hedland, Pilbara WA
Salary: $125,000 Remote Allowance Superannuation Salary Packaging

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AOD Clinical Lead to join a well-established residential rehabilitation service in Hedland. This is a leadership opportunity for a skilled clinician who is passionate about supporting individuals on their recovery journey while providing strong clinical guidance to a multidisciplinary team.

As the AOD Clinical Lead, you will provide clinical leadership across the rehabilitation program, ensuring evidence-based practice, high-quality client care, and a supportive therapeutic environment. You will work closely with the broader leadership team to support staff development, service delivery, and continuous improvement within the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the residential AOD rehabilitation program
  • Ensure best practice, evidence-based treatment approaches are implemented
  • Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and support to a multidisciplinary team
  • Support the development and delivery of individualised treatment and recovery plans
  • Contribute to program development, service quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated client care
  • Maintain compliance with relevant clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards

About You:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience working in AOD services or residential rehabilitation
  • AHPRA Registered
  • Strong clinical leadership and supervision experience
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practice
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote community setting
  • Current driver’s licence
