The role:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of braking applications for railway rolling stock. We are currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a casual contract role based in Wetherill Park. Working Monday to Friday with the opportunity for Saturday overtime, the successful candidate would be responsible for the service and maintenance of various fixed plant machinery on site.
Skills & Experience:
- Australian recognized Trade Certificate
- Previous experience in maintenance of machinery
- Basic welding skills
- Previous experience working in a workshop environment
- Excellent problem solving skills
- High commitment to safety – follow workshop safety policies and procedures
