Location: Malaga
Permanent: Full Time Position
Salary: $80,000-95,000 salary package – negotiable for the right candidate
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am – 3:30pm (flexible if needed)

About the Role:

• Across a busy warehouse with many moving parts, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient, safe, and compliant handling of goods.
• The position leads a team of approximately ten staff, and we are looking for a candidate who can drive and maintain high operational standards whilst effectively delivering a critical function that supports the needs of the wider national business.

Reporting Structure:

• Reports directly to the General Manager
• Manages all warehouse personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead & Mentor: and support the warehouse team, including task allocation, training and performance guidance.
• Warehouse operations: Oversee all requirements including goods receivable, pick/packing, dispatch, local truck runs, container loading/unloading, and internal stock transfers
• Manage Export Orders: ensuring containers are loaded correctly and goods leave the yard to export standards.
• Freight & Carrier: Complete online freight bookings through various carrier and freight portals.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory through routine cycle counts and full stock take processes.
• Compliance & WHS: Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and promote a safe workplace.
• Hands-on approach: including picking and packing orders when required to meet customer deadlines.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee all maintenance and general warehouse facility upkeep and end-of-day closing/securing of the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate records: complete administrative tasks, liaise with office/admin staff, and assist with recruiting warehouse personnel.

The Candidate – What You’ll Need:

• Proven experience in warehouse management or a senior warehouse leadership role.
• Strong leadership capability with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Current forklift licence and valid driver’s licence.
• Solid understanding of warehouse systems, inventory processes and freight booking platforms. Working knowledge of WHS requirements and safe work practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks and adapt to changing operational demands.
• Comfortable with hands-on work and leading by example.
