As a Technical Sales Engineer / Power & HVAC Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering tailored temporary power solutions for customers operating across industrial, infrastructure and resources sectors.
You will engage with customers to understand project requirements, design practical power solutions and coordinate internally with engineering and sales teams to deliver technically sound and commercially competitive proposals.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Business Development
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
• Identify opportunities to provide temporary power and infrastructure solutions within the Mining, Utillities and Industrial markets
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers requiring power generation and distribution systems
• Present technical solutions and proposals to engineering and operational teams
• Support broader sales and project teams with specialist technical expertise Technical Solution Development
• Assess project requirements and recommend appropriate power generation solutions
• Size diesel generators, battery systems and solar arrays for project applications
• Work closely with engineering teams to develop technically sound power solutions
• Ensure solutions are practical, reliable and aligned with operational requirements Commercial & Project Support
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and solution documentation
• Provide input into pricing strategies and product recommendations
• Support forecasting, pipeline tracking and CRM reporting
• Monitor market trends and provide insight into emerging technologies and customer needs Collaboration & Internal Coordination
• Work closely with internal engineering (Power & HVAC) and technical teams
• Support account managers and project managers during customer engagements
• Collaborate across multiple business units supporting integrated project solutions
• Maintain strong communication between technical, operational and commercial teams About You
You are likely to bring:
• Experience in B2B sales, account management
• Background in electrical systems, power generation or industrial infrastructure
• Strong understanding of diesel generators and electrical distribution systems
• Experience working with mining, industrial or utilities sector clients
• Ability to engage confidently with both technical and commercial stakeholders
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building capability
• Commercial awareness and ability to develop customer-focused solutions
Highly Regarded
• Experience with Hybrid Power Systems or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Exposure to LV and HV electrical infrastructure projects
• Previous experience working within equipment hire, power generation or industrial services sectors
• Electrical trade qualification or engineering background
