About the role:
2XM recruit is partnering up with a leading client in the engineering space supplying to Defence, Marine and Commercial industries. You will be part of an established team working on Garden Island on exciting projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Installations and repair of Deck Machinery, winches, switch gear, motors and pump sets
- Conduct routine inspections on fire systems
- Assist with fault identification, troubleshooting & condition reporting
- Adhere to strict security protocols and ensure that all installations comply with relevant safety standards
- Document all work performed, including system configurations, wiring diagrams, and maintenance logs
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (security requirements)
- Trade qualified Electrician
- Min. 3 years experience
- Heavy industrial or Naval experience
- Obtain Federal National Police clearance
- Confined Space and Working at Heights advantageous
- Willing to complete medical testing and drug and alcohol test
- Strong safety experience
